With homeschooling, the classical education model is called into question. There is no classroom, there is no teacher: parents educate their children at liberty, whether or not they adhere to the canonical school program. But, although it forms a better educational path for children, it doesn’t help them develop themselves and their personality in the same way a traditional school does.
Firstly, the school, the teacher, the grades: all social pillars that help children deal with authority and individual responsibility. A child who is educated by his or her mother will experience the first approach differently with failures and difficulties and may struggle to develop autonomy and awareness in dealing with the outside world.
Secondly, the school is, in most cases, an excellent place to socialize and compare with others. By choosing parental education, children may find it harder to form a group of friends, feeling isolated, and it may impact their way of socializing in the future.
And finally, another disadvantage is the commitment, very important in terms of time and energy, that homeschooling requires of parents. It is a real full-time job, which demands patience, dedication, and a lot of time to devote to this activity.
In conclusion, because of the reasons I presented above, homeschooling, in my opinion, doesn’t benefit the children, the advantages of this method being overshadowed by the disadvantages.
In today’s society, there are many ways for children to obtain an education. One option that is often overlooked is homeschooling. Homeschooling is not for everyone but it is a great alternative to a traditional education. Some children do not learn well in a class room setting and need a more tailored experience. Some have learning styles that cannot be easily accommodated in a public school setting.
I don't think that children should be homeschooled for many reasons.
Firstly, at earlier stages of development, it is critical for children to socialize and advance their communication skills.
Children studying at home do not get this opportunity and are likely to have problems socializing and making friends later in life.
Another argument is concerned with the cost of home education. At that, it does not matter if the parents choose to educate the child themselves or hire a tutor –in both instances, their budget is likely to be shattered. Apart from the money it takes to homeschool children, parents are likely to devote most of their time to it. Eventually, they might find themselves spending 24 hours a day with their children with not a moment of solitude and privacy left. On the other hand, there are many pros for homeschooling as well. Educating their children and tracking their progress, parents have a chance to know their children better, which is the cornerstone of good parenting. Additionally, parental involvement can prevent aggressive and destructive behaviors in teens and pre-teens, which is another solid point to consider.
From my point of view, homeschooling is not an ideal choice to educate children. Even though it provides alternative option to the standard educational method, this system is not complete and holds a lot of imperfections. Firstly, one of the most glaring negative effects of homeschooling is the matter of motivation. Some children need to be challenged to excel in their studies. In this sense, they thrive when they are involved in some competition. Children who are homeschooled would not have this motivation because most of them are educated separately. Secondly, home schooled children may not have as many opportunities to interact with other children in comparison to children who attend regular schools. Forming bonds and socializing with children their own age is important for the child’s developmental health and development of social skills. If home schooled, they may be deprived of the chance to form friendships and may suffer socially. Of course, they can make friends with other home schooled children, but it is quite different when special effort has to be made to arrange meetings. The lack of socialization may affect them in later stages of life. In addition, parents who choose to home school their children should be prepared to spend more money than parents who send their children to public schools.Purchasing the newest curriculum and teaching tools can be very expensive. All things considered, I strongly believe that homeschooling doesn't represent an effective method to educate a child due to the negattive aspects it implies.

The annual Thanksgiving holiday tradition in the United States is documented at its earliest in 1619, in what is now called the Commonwealth of Virginia . Thirty-eight English settlers aboard the ship Margaret arrived by way of the James River at Berkeley Hundred in Charles City County, Virginia on December 4, 1619. The landing was immediately followed by a religious celebration, specifically dictated by the group's charter from the London Company . The charter declared, "that the day of our ships arrival at the place assigned for plantation in the land of Virginia shall be yearly and perpetually kept holy as a day of thanksgiving to Almighty God." Since the mid 20th century, the original celebration has been commemorated there annually at present-day Berkeley Plantation , ancestral home of the Harrison family of Virginia . The more familiar Thanksgiving precedent is traced to the Pilgrims and Puri...
