16.  Dacă aș fi avut timp, aș fi citit articolul aseară.

18.  Dacă l-aș întâlni pe John, i-aș spune că s-a purtat urât cu noi toți.

19.  Dacă îl căutai acasă, îl găseai.

14.  Have you read Hilary Mantel’s latest book? (Hilary Mantel este încă în viață și de aceea se utilizează ”latest”)

15.  Thomas Hardy’s last novel was called ”Jude the Obscure”.

16.  If I had had time/ Had I had time, I should/ I had have read the article last night.

17.  If he lends me the yellow umbrella, I shall go for a walk.

18.  If I met John, I should tell him that he had behaved badly/ that he had misbehaved to us all./ Should I meet John, I would tel him...

19.  If you had sought him home, you would have found him. / Had you sought him...

20.  You would have listened to good music if you had come to my place yesterday morning./ Had you come to my place yesterday morning, you would have listened to good music.
